NedunchalaiN.Krishna shot to fame with his 1st Tamil film as director, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal (2006).Though the film didn’t become a commercial success, it did make headlines because it featured Suriya and Jyothika in the lead and it released during the week that they got married. The film was also noted for its slightly controversial theme and the music by A.R.Rahman. Though N.Krishna had started work finally on his second film Nedunchalai (Highway) in mid 2012, the film has been in the making for quite some time. With Udhayanidhi Stalin‘s Red Giant Movies finally picking up the distribution rights in late 2013, the film has finally been completed and will now be releasing on 28th March.Continue reading “Nedunchalai: Trailer”

Neerparavai Movie Review– Flies high and handsome

‘Neerparavai’ is the third directorial venture of critically acclaimed filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy. The director has been successful in getting the backing of a big banner this time(‘Red Giant Movies’) and one must really appreciate Udhyanidhi Stalin for not only backing such a promising director but also going the whole hog by giving the movie a wide release and a great publicity campaign. Mynaa Movie Review : This bird does soar!!!

Director Prabhu Solomon has always been known to make films which are different yet within the commercial space. Be it a King, Kokki, Lee or a Laadam, his intentions have been very clear- entertain and yet make the audience feel that they have been given something new in terms of subject or treatment. Ever since his last film Mynaa was ready it had been in the news for a lot of reasons. Be it for the various compliments the film had been receiving from most of the Industry members who had seen it or for the controversy created during the audio launch of the film, there had been a lot of talk about the film. That the film held promise was also becoming clear even before the release with the distribution rights being jointly taken up by AGS Entertainment & Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. 7am Arivu- Trailer

The much awaited film from A.R.Murugadoss, 7 am Arivu starring Suriya and Shruti Haasan is finally due for release for Diwali ( 26th October ).
