Audience at the seventh edition of India Film Project poured in on the first day to witness film makers and content creators coming together to discuss art of content creation at the Asia’s largest Content Creation festival held in the city. Held across multiple arenas at the Nehru Centre, Indian Film Project was motioned by several personalities including Kunal Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, JD Majethia, Devdutt Pattanaik, Mukesh Chhabra along with content producers from various channels. Trailer of Jayaraj’s “Veeram”

veeram-2017-posterVeeram is a forthcoming Malayalam movie and a epic historical drama written and directed by National Award winning writer-director Jayaraj. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare‘s play, Macbeth, and is the fifth installment in Jayaraj’s Navarasa series. The film, which also takes inspirations from the Vadakkan Pattukal (Northern Ballads) of North Malabar region in Kerala tells the story of Chandu Chekavar (Kunal Kapoor), an infamous warrior in the 13th century North Malabar. Veeram has been simultaneously made in Malayalam, Hindi, and in English with the same title and the Malayalam version is due for release on 24th February. Continue reading “Trailer of Jayaraj’s “Veeram””

There is always a certain amount of anticipation that comes with watching an acclaimed director’s follow up to an acclaimed debut feature. Kaun Kitney Paani Mein: Trailer

KKPM PosterWriter-director Nila Madhab Panda who made some interesting films like I Am Kalam (2010) and Jalpari (2012) made a departure of sorts with Babloo Happy Hai (2014). But he is now back with a film which seems to be more from a zone he is comfortable with, Kaun Kitney Paani Mein. Written by his frequent collaborator, Deepak Venkateshan, the film is produced by Eleaanora Images and One Drop Foundation.
