Man with the Binoculars or Antardrishti is an Assamese film by actress turned director and producer, Rima Das. It is currently doing its festival run and has so far made it to the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia and the Mumbai Film Festival. The film features Bishnu Khargariya, Nayan Nirban Baruah, Sasana Samir and Jumi Das. The music is by Anurag Saikia while Ratnajit Roy is the DOP and Suresh Pai the editor.
Synopsis– Chaudhury , a geography teacher, living a quiet, retired life of patriarch watches over his family in rural Assam,India. His life starts turning upside down when his musician son, who has come for a visit gifts him a pair of Binoculars.
