Rakshit Shetty has emerged as one of the more interesting talents of Kannada cinema in recent times. He not only made an impressive directorial debut with Ulidavaru Kandanthe, but also gained a considerable following as an actor with his performances in films like Simple Agi Ondh Love Story and Ricky.
Shetty is now back an actor with the film Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu helmed by debutante director Hemanth Rao. The film narrates the story of Shiva Rao (Rakshit Shetty) searching for his missing father Venkob Rao (Anant Nag) who might have got into some unforeseen troubles. The film also stars Sruthi Hariharan and Achyuth Kumar and is produced by Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah. The music of the film is scored by Charan Raj while the film has been shot by Nanda Kishore and edited by Srikanth Shroff.
