Matt Damon is back as Jason Bourne almost a decade later after he starred in The Bourne Ultimatum. Yes, there was the lackluster Jeremy Renner starrer The Bourne Legacy that also was released in between. But that was a separate film and one we’d like to forget.
Titled Jason Bourne, the latest Bourne movie also stars Tommy Lee Jones and Alicia Vikander in key roles. The film also reunites Damon with director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum) and Julia Stiles who had starred in the earlier Bourne movies.
Like the earlier films, the new film sees Damon reprise the role of a former secret CIA operative trying to uncover hidden truths about his past life.
