Director Nalan Kumarasamy best known for Soodhu Kavvum turns producer with the Tamil movie Uriyadi. The film is co-produced by Kumarasamy and Sameer Bharat Ram of Pinrom pictures in association with Souvenir Productions. Uriyadi which marks the directorial debut of Vijay Kumar is a thriller set in the late 90’s and revolves around an engineering college located in the interiors of Tamil Nadu.
The film stars Vijay Kumar, Mime Gopi, Citizen Sivakumar and Chandru in pivotal roles with music by Masala Coffee & Anthony Daasan. Uriyadi which is also written by Kumar is scheduled for a theatrical release soon. Meanwhile, have a look at its trailer below and do let us know your views on it.
