Winner of the The Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus International Jury for the best feature-length film as well as a Special Mention by Children’s Jury in Generation Kplus Section at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival in 2015, Nagesh Kukunoor‘s Dhanak (Rainbow) is now all set for a theatrical release in India from 10th June. Produced by Manish Mundra, Nagesh Kukunoor and Elahe Hiptoola, the film’s cast includes Hetal Gada and Krrish Chhabria along with Rajiv Lakshman, Vipin Sharma, Fllora Saini, Suresh Menon, Vibha Chhibber, Vijay Maurya, Chet Dixon etc. Music and BGM is by Tapas Relia while Chirantan Das is the DOP and Sanjib Dutta is the editor.
Synopsis-Pari has promised her little blind brother Chotu that she’ll help get his eyesight back before he turns 10. When she spots her favorite star Shah Rukh Khan on the poster for an eye-donation drive, she is convinced her hero will help her on her mission. And so Pari sets out with Chotu on a magical journey through Rajasthan where they encounter a bunch of colourful characters.
